So Olga and I have been in the process of moving to our new apartment which made studying for my Cisco CCNA somewhat problematic. Instead I decided to focus on the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) certification, consisting of just one exam (1Y0-A05). I sat the exam yesterday and passed with 90% (yay!).
This certification should be a big help to me mainly at work. Quiettouch does a lot of Citrix work and having several CCEE in house, I had some very experienced tutors at my disposal (thanks guys!). I’m now contemplating the Citrix Certified Advanced Admin (CCAA) which is one more exam (1Y0-A08), but focuses less on the implementation of Citrix XenApp 5.0 and more on the troubleshooting of standard problems that might be encountered with a typical XenApp farm.
Hi there! Came across your blog posting during a Google Images search for the CCA logo of all things
I took and passed my CCA on April 7th of this year, and just now getting the PDF of my certificate.
This comes in handy since we are a Citrix partner where I work, plus we use Citrix XenServer to do 95% of our business.
